The 3 Types of Verbs – Helping Verbs
The 3 main types of verbs are Action Verbs, Linking Verbs, and Helping Verbs. Helping Verbs work with a main verb to help us understand more about the action taking place. There could be up to three Helping Verbs in a sentence. When Helping Verbs come together with a main verb, it is called a Verb Phrase.
